世衛組織總幹事(shì)譚德塞在4月1日表示，在過去5周，确診病例接近(jìn)爆發性增長(cháng)，幾乎所有國(guó)家和(hé)地(dì)區都(dōu)報告了(le)确診病例。

WHO Director-General Tan Desai said on April 1 that in the past 5 weeks, the confirmed cases are close to explosive growth, and almost all countries and regions have reported confirmed cases.

過去一周，死亡病例增長(cháng)了(le)一倍多(duō)，在未來(lái)幾天內(nèi)，确診病例将超過100萬，死亡病例将超過5萬。

The number of deaths has more than doubled in the past week. In the next few days, the number of confirmed cases will exceed 1 million, and the number of deaths will exceed 50,000.

世衛組織表示，新冠肺炎是人類面臨的第一個(gè)冠狀病毒大流行(xíng)，人們對(duì)于病毒所知(zhī)有限，世衛組織緻力于向世界所有國(guó)家提供建立在事(shì)實基礎上的防控指南(nán)。
